Last night, our bridge, commercial, and industrial painters in Locals 6, 409 and 530 voted decisively against the proposed agreement put forward by our signatory contractors. We’re grateful for the more than 225 DC 57 members who voted; this marks our largest turnout for a contract vote in decades.
Our negotiating team looks forward to returning to the bargaining table and taking a new deal back to our membership before our current contract expires on May 31st.
